Special Event: Dandelion is Dead

  • KöD 2 Saint Anne's Court London, England, W1F 0AZ United Kingdom (map)

Books worth talking about. Authors worth hearing from. Brunch worth showing up for. Join us to toast to Dandelion is Dead!

We’re so excited to host a very special Brunch Book Club event for Dandelion Is Dead, the bold and addictive debut novel by Rosie Storey.

First, we'll come together for an online discussion where we’ll dig into the novel’s sharp observations on grief, sisterhood, desire and bad decisions. This is followed by a live online Q&A with Rosie, giving you the chance to hear directly from the author and ask the questions you actually want answered.

Later, we’ll come together in person at KöD Soho for brunch — a lively, social space that’s perfect for continuing the conversation. Expect thoughtful discussion, a great atmosphere and the kind of event where you leave having met people you’re genuinely glad to have spent your Saturday with.

See you at brunch! 🥂📚🥑

I Dreamed of You by Pim Wangtechawat

Seven months after Dandelion’s death, Poppy resurrects her sister’s phone and finds a message from a man on a dating app. Jake.

Dandelion delighted in bad behaviour. She pushed Poppy to be daring. So, on what would have been her 40th birthday, Poppy decides to do something her sister would love, and – for one night only – she goes on a date as Dandelion.

Only when Poppy meets Jake, they have unexpected chemistry. Thrillingly hot, confusing chemistry. They become tangled in deceit while discovering something shockingly real. What happens when you fall in love with a lie?

As a precarious dare spirals somewhere altogether more unexpected, Dandelion is Dead becomes a love story, a ballad of sisterhood and an ode to bad behaviour.
